Canonisation des victimes du Génocide : Quelle est le sens de leur sanctification?

Pour le 75ème anniversaire du Génocide des Arméniens, dans un communiqué publié le 29 avril 1989 à cette occasion, Leurs Saintetés Vazken Ier, Catholicos de tous les Arméniens et Karekin II, Catholicos de la Grande Maison de Cilicie, “proposent que les travaux de préparation à la canonisation des victimes (du Génocide) reprennent.” En effet, l’idée d’une commémoration religieuse des victimes

Canonization of the Genocide Victims: Are We Ready?

This year is the 75th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and it seems that the "preparatory activities" are still  continuing... So far the victims of the Genocide have not been canonized. There are several problems with the issue of 
canonizing the victims of the Genocide. However, before going into the discussion of these problems, let us briefly  define what "canonization" is.
